Working on Reading in groups!
Today, we put into practice the Jigsaw method to work on our reading skills.
- First, we made groups where we had different levels of English and we chose a text to read.
- Then, we got together with students with the same text and we became experts on it. We read the text, understood the text and checked the vocabulary.
- Once, we did this we got back together with our jigsaw group and we started a short speed competition. We had to answer some questions about the texts. It was not easy! We had to memorize them, dictate them to our group's secretary and answer them depending on each text.
This activity was new for us, but we will repeat it because we enjoyed it!
